MENU OF THE DAY: MARINARA SAUCE ALA GIADA DE LAURENTIIS

Tomatoes are in season. This is a rare time, tomatoes are at their best and so cheap.

We get to enjoy homemade marinara sauce only when tomatoes are in season.

So with olive oil and big onions, here goes the marinara sauce. Recipe by Giada De Laurentiis.

We're not going anywhere this Holy Week so I'm stacking up on goodies. I hope I can start the salsa tomorrow. Honda guy is picking up the car at 6 a.m. for the regular kilometer check so I'll be home in the morning, I got time.
